President Trump Pushing To Fill Our Skys With Drones

The Push for Highly trained and Qualified Drone Pilots Is Going to Be In High Demand Real Soon………………

Drones have been skyrocketing in popularity over the last few years. Sales of drones is expected to surpass 12 billion by 2021, which is a annual growth rate of 7.6% from the 8.5 billion in 2016. That growth will occur across three segments of the drone industry.

  • Consumer drone shipments- Expected to hit 29 million by 2021.
  • Enterprise drones (commercial drones)- Expected to reach 805,000 by 2021.
  • Government drones- The department of defense allocated a budget of 2.9 billion in 2016 for more then 50 new drones for combat and surveillance.

On 10/25/17 President Trump signed a memo directing the Department Of Transportation to create a plan to make it easier to fly a drone for commercial purpose in US Airspace.

Other countries have already pushed ahead with natural drone networks, and operators in the US have been trying to do the same. The FEDS launched a program called the In Manned Aircraft System (UAS) Integration Drone Pilot Program.

I don’t think this will effect the casual drone user. This should be very interesting to someone that is interested in flying drones as their full time job. Just imagine waking up everyday and going to work and flying drones. If you do this for a hobby that doesn’t exactly sound like a normal 9-5.

For all you drone enthusiasts out there this could be big news if looking to get into this line of work. With the increase in popularity of drones and this new federal program the sky is the limit for you literally! It is definitely worth looking into. It is predicted that 100,000 new jobs will open up in the drone industry by 2025. So now is the time to get started training so you can be ready as these new jobs begin to open.
