Top 5 Hubsan Brand Remote Control Drone

Hubsan is one of the leading drone manufacturers. Hubsan drones are renowned for their flight stability and user-friendly controls. In my opinion, the great thing about Hubsan remote control drones is that their compact design makes them suitable for both outdoor and indoor flight.

Without further ado, let’s take a look at the best Hubsan drones available on the market today.

Hubsan H109S X4 Pro

The Hubsan H109S X4 Pro comes with a 1080p camera and a 1-axis gimbal. When it’s fully equipped, the H109S boasts a flying time of up to 27 minutes, depending on the weather conditions. If it’s not laden by anything, the drone can fly for up to 40 minutes.

One of the advantages of using this drone is that it comes with a lot of helpful features. These features include real-time FPV, Follow Me, Return Home, Headless Mode, and Altitude Hold, and they will be very useful when you’re flying.

As far as the flying is concerned, the H109S features a GPS-based control system, so it will be very precise in its movement and positioning. This can be an advantage if you’re planning on using the drone for recording videos, as the drone will be very stable in mid-flight. When the camera is mounted, you will get an actual flying time of up to 25 minutes.

This remote control drone has two variations. The main difference between the standard and the high edition is the type of gimbal they use. While the standard version comes with a 1-axis motorized gimbal, the high version uses a 3-axis one that will offer more stability for your aerial footage.

The H109S has a lightweight but durable plastic body. I particularly liked the fact that the drone came with a reusable emergency parachute system that should protect the device in the case of an emergency landing.

  • Flight Time – 25 minutes – 40 minutes
  • Charging Time – 30 – 60 minutes
  • Range – up to 1000 meters

Hubsan H501S x4

The Hubsan H501S is a relatively small remote control drone that’s made out of lightweight and durable ABS plastic. This quadcopter comes with a built-in 1080p camera that has a field of view of 120 degrees, allowing you to capture high-quality photographs and videos.

A great thing about using the H501S is that it offers a broad set of useful features. This remote control drone comes with an integrated GPS-based system that allows the device to fly autonomously while you’re controlling the camera. The Follow Me feature is very good, and the quadcopter will detect and follow you while maintaining a stable flight speed and altitude.

Other useful features are the Altitude Hold and Headless Mode, which will allow you to focus on the camera while the drone maintains the altitude by itself, and control the drone with ease, no matter where its front is facing.

The H501S uses a 2.4 GHz remote control that’s fairly easy to understand and handle. The controller has a 4.3” built-in monitor that allows you to receive live data from the drone and use the FPV function.

Even though this model doesn’t offer as many features and functions as other Hubsan products, it still comes with a Return Home feature and a Headless mode. These features will help you control the drone when you’re flying, and they’re very useful.

As far as the built-in camera is concerned, the built-in model on the H502E will capture images in 720p resolution. When you take a picture or start filming, the respective icons on the transmitter’s LCD screen will start blinking. The camera’s wide angle lens will allow you to take nice pictures, and the Altitude Hold will stabilize the drone while you’re using the camera.

A good thing about the H017D+ is that it comes with a lot of useful features and functions. There are rubber dampers installed underneath each motor that will reduce the motor’s vibration. This feature will improve the quality of the pictures and videos you take, and it’s very important for a unit this size.

This unit comes with 2 flight speeds. The normal speed is slightly slower, but it also keeps the drone stable while you change the flight direction. The expert speed is noticeably faster, and the drone will make sharper turns. However, when the expert mode is enabled, you will need to exercise more control to keep the drone stable mid-flight.

The H107D+ uses an HD camera that will take stills in 1280 x 720 resolution, and capture videos in 720p at 30 FPS. The transmitter has a simple design, and it comes with a 4.3” screen that will provide the live feed you need for the FPV mode.
